Increasingly Popular
Paper crafts are becoming increasingly
popular and are no longer the default
realm of greeting card and scrapbook
enthusiasts.

Artistic Inspiration
Drawing on inspiration from modern art,
photography, fashion and textiles,
mosaic and traditional artists, (along with
absolute beginners), are taking paper
and card crafting to new levels. Evidently,
with so many artistic options to choose
from, there are no real limits to the
heights of individual and collective
creativity.

Simplicity & Choice
The emergence and popularity of paper
crafting, has been helped by choice,
simplicity, cost and availability.
Compared with other hobbies and past
times, paper crafting is relatively
inexpensive and requires no special
tools, training or equipment. In fact,
most people start with and still use, just
a few bits of paper/card, scissors and
adhesive. Of course, should you take it
to the next level, which would be
decoupage, then the cost does not
increase exponentially.
